ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) is the world's largest AV and systems integration trade show, drawing 70,000 professionals from 160+ countries to Barcelona's Fira Gran Via each February. US display manufacturers, audio brands, control system companies, and AV integrators exhibit alongside global competitors. Non-EU exhibitors — including all US companies — need an ATA Carnet to bring professional equipment into Spain without paying EU import duties.
US and other non-EU exhibitors at ISE need an ATA Carnet covering professional equipment and exhibition goods. Spain accepts carnets for all standard ATA categories including display systems, audio hardware, control systems, and conferencing equipment. ISE and MWC Barcelona both take place in Barcelona in February — a single carnet covering Spain can cover both shows in the same trip.
ISE is held in Spain. Review the specific ATA Carnet requirements, accepted uses, and entry procedures for Spain before you travel.
