Exporting from the US
1Holder or FF/Broker signs Box J on front

cover (1st use only)2FF/Broker brings freight & carnet to customs port (air, sea, border)
3FF/Broker presents freight, carnet, and all shipping docs (air waybill, bill of lading, any special permits, export licenses etc.) to customs for validation
4US Customs stamps & signs Box H on

6Send carnet via courier to foreign counterpart, do NOT send unattended with freight
