Salone del Mobile Milano is the world's leading furniture and interior design trade fair, drawing 300,000 visitors from 180+ countries to Fiera Milano each April. The concurrent Fuorisalone events transform Milan into a global design showcase for the week. US furniture brands, lighting designers, and home goods companies exhibit prototypes and collection launches β and need an ATA Carnet to bring their pieces into Italy without paying EU import duties.
US and other non-EU exhibitors at Salone del Mobile need an ATA Carnet covering professional equipment and exhibition goods. Italy accepts carnets for all standard ATA categories including furniture prototypes, lighting systems, display technology, and production samples. The carnet covers both Fiera Milano exhibits and any Fuorisalone satellite events during the same trip.
