Non-EU exhibitors at MIPIM need an ATA Carnet covering professional equipment and exhibition goods. The carnet is valid for 12 months from issue date.

Full France Carnet Guide6–8 weeks before MIPIM (January)
Begin equipment and display list. Architectural models often have significant production value — use replacement or fabrication cost as the declared value.
4–5 weeks before
Submit carnet application. Include all physical models, AV equipment, VR systems, and booth furniture that will return home.
2 weeks before
Receive carnet. Confirm freight forwarder is authorized as carnet agent for items shipping separately to Cannes.
Arrival at NCE
Present carnet to French Douane at Nice airport. Officers stamp importation vouchers. MIPIM week at NCE is busy — arrive with extra time.
MIPIM show days (approximately 4 days)
Keep carnet at your stand. French Customs may verify exhibits at Palais des Festivals.
Post-MIPIM departure from France
Obtain re-exportation stamps from French Douane before equipment leaves France. Required for discharge.
Within 2 weeks of return
Return completed carnet to EasyCarnet for USCIB or Canadian Chamber discharge.
